GAP Analysis
We have a dedicated NPD department, that carries out market analysis twice a year. We monitor all the latest trends, both in terms of flavour profiles and also packaging innovation.
We document our findings, and share this information with our key customers to review seasonal trends and spot where the ready to eat chicken market is heading.
Matching Excellence
Forresters have developed a reputation for providing our customers with excellent benchmark matching ability.
Working with our marinade houses, we pride ourselves that we are able to hit the flavours requested often at first tasting. We work with our customers, to tweak the final marinade flavours in line with their specific requirements. We retain tasting notes, and share these with customers to assist with taste panel sessions.

NPD
We do have a limited resource dedicated to NPD work. However, we see our niche as being the ability to spot early the seasonal winner, and then have an exact match available quickly to capitalise on sales in what is such a competitive and fast moving changing environment.

Samples
We have a very robust recording system, whereby we document all stages in our sampling process. This proves invaluable for when customers require specific aspects of flavour profile tweaking.
We have nutritional predictive software, so we are able to provide customers with accurate nutritional information right from the very beginning of the process.

Allergen
It is our policy, where possible, to produce product that is allergen free. Only in extreme situations do we consider adding allergens to recipes, in order to make the finished product as universally acceptable as possible.
