Our History
1972
Forresters established by Alan Dilliway-Parry (now company chairman).
The company specialised in the wholesale and production of raw chicken.
1995
Relocation to an 8 acre brown field site in Kingsley.
1996
Steam Cooked Chicken Portion production commenced.
2000
Installation of Double D cooker allows Roast Cooked Chicken Portions to be launched
2005
ADP retires and board of directors left to run company (Angus Dilliway-Parry, Tim Diggle, Heidi Dilliway- Nickson)
Injection technology introduced to improve quality and regeneration of cooked chicken portions.
Grade A Higher Level BRC accreditation achieved.
2007
Tumbling and Cooked Marinating Production commenced.
Red Tractor certification received.
2009
New packaging store, engineering store & coldstore extension completed.
2011
Launch of new roast cooked chilled production and packing for supermarket/retail market.
New offices opened on site
2012
Launch of own label – Delamere brand.
Rapid expansion of cooked retail chilled lines.
Introduction of Proseal MAP packing technology.
2015
Installation of additional cooker.
Significant growth in retail sales.
2016
Replacement of old cookers with new.
Further significant investment in production facilities, and across site.
A* BRC accreditation received from unannounced audit
2017
Turnover over £60m
250 staff employed full-time.
Cooking and/or packing over 70 tonne of chicken daily
Overhaul and refurbishment of factory completed
